Every time you accept a bid, a 10% platform fee is added to the hauler’s quoted price. This fee allows us to maintain the systems that protect both shippers and haulers throughout the entire shipment lifecycle.
What the Fee Covers
The platform fee supports essential services that keep Baleport running smoothly, including:
Secure escrow handling through Stripe
Hauler identity verification (ID, DOT/MC, insurance audits)
Dispute resolution and customer support
Fraud detection and account monitoring
Messaging, shipment tracking, and reporting tools

Your final cost is displayed before you complete payment. The total includes:
